TEHRAN – Iran has been invited to participate in a conference about security situation in Afghanistan which is scheduled to be held in Istanbul on November 2, ISNA reported on Tuesday. 

The conference is aimed at promoting cooperation among Central Asian countries and improving regional security particularly in Afghanistan.

Regional countries including Afghanistan and its neighbors are scheduled to attend the conference.
